Biography

Abdel Abdou has been performing for over 17 years. He began his musical career in Morocco performing with selective bands and bellydancers in various casinos. He has performed with his brother, Abdelatif Tahour, who is a well known singer throughout Europe and Morocco. He has just recently returned from a tour with his brothers.

Abdel Abdou has also been seen performing at Walt Disney World in the Moroccan pavillion, Universal Studios, and MGM Studios. He can be seen performing daily at Epcot with Mo'Rockin. They are a modern band playing a fusion of arabic tunes with modern overtones. He has also played with different Arabic bands in New York. Recently he was seen on a local cable channel where he performed with different groups and dancers.

Through practice and persistence this performer has dazzled and amazed audiences with his impressive drum techniques. Bellydancers have been thrilled to no end with his musical abilities and the crowds have been left wondering, "how does he play like that?" Orlando entertainment has never been more exciting.

"The Blue Lotus Center" is a local arts and theatre center where he gives tabla lessons to anyone interested.
